Beautiful package. Nice content, well detailed knowledge.
Amazing book brother, may Allah bless the work of your hands.Allahuma amiiin.
Great tips and insightful,Useful info.
In love with this book! Although it's over a decade ago that I first read (a hardcopy), re-reading it on Kindle was very beneficial for me.
I was working on my productivity journey and I found this book has multifaceted approach on productivity x Islam as a way of life. It's not those "judgmental motivational books", it's a gem which combine the wisdom from Al Quran, Rasulullah PBUH life, contemporary readings and research, as well as the current condition of the ummah. Full of insight and compassionately written.
One of the reasons why modern Muslims have entered an era of stagnation is due to a decline in engaging in meaningful dialogue, reading, and writing. This book, although not comprehensive, serves as a small spark that can ignite a larger fire, motivating Muslims to awaken, read, write, and discuss the principles and teachings of Allah (SWT). While the book could benefit from citations of more empirical studies, I appreciate how the author has begun to outline the role of the modern Muslim writer. I believe future authors will build upon this work and further explore the topic. Well done, and keep up the good work!
Great read with helpful and insightful tips for everyday living through Islam. Great reminders and overview how to structure your day
I really enjoyed reading and learned much from the first 1/3 of this book (up through the chapter "Spiritual Productivity"). The later chapters, especially on fitness, health, and socializing were not as useful to me because I have heard the same advice from other sources. However, I read a lot of books about diet, fitness, and emotional/social wellbeing, so that is not to say these chapters are not very valuable for readers with other experiences. Even so, I would recommend this book for that first 1/3 alone. It gives me a lot to think about and strive for, and I'm sure others can benefit equally.
Great book!
This book was a great read, my favorite is the explanation was to why we worship, we are slaves/surrender to Allah, otherwise we are slaves to other peoples tasks. Im already very disciplined with my to dos, as a mom to a young child, i get overwhelmed and this book gave me the mental boost to unblock my lack of untapped productivity. However this book was also very triggering, im often surrounded by unproductive spouse, family members, friends, colleagues and people who dont follow through, show up on time, just simply disrespect my time bound events ( family showing two hours late) or husband doesnt follow through on simplest of asks being told im a nag, this is why we cant have nice things! The muslim culture around me tramps my productivity - muslims stores dont open before 10 or 11am, the muslim events parties dont start after isha, well im not a night owl as a productive person and conducive to my overall lifestyle. Im not surrounded by muslims that are role models for me. So after reading this book, while im productive mashallah, im been even more lonely. Maybe ill take the advice in this book and take a nap midday, so the rest of my circle can catch up to me. Lack of support is such a drag and defeating. So this book is for the reader who has an already near perfect family whom are already disciplined enough to heed the advice. Faris you must be a man written in a naive male productivity point of view, so as a women reader and a mom like me, you need to write a second book how to build a support system to help you be more sustainably productive but modeling the behavior by lifting the unproductive stick in the mud muslims around you causing the defeat and sabotaging your productivity. Thanks in theory but not practical when applied.
This is book every muslim needs to have and to read it! This book changed my life!!! I just finished it a few days ago, and now I am reading more books, and I've even started to pray the daily prayers again. I am extremely thankful for the author writing this beautiful book, may Allah truly reward this dear brother, amin. This book has truly changed my life to being more productive it has made me a better muslim and hence a better person to this world. A great informative view on both the spiritual aspects and this world and how to live both together. Please buy this book if you can, you wont regret it.
The best book of Muslim people
I really liked reading this book. Talks about how a muslim can start his day being productive for the sake of Allah. One piece of advice that I took to habit is staying up after fajir.
This book is clear and straight to the point. It is a great read and I highly recommend it. It is also an easy and enjoyable read!
So, this quarantine made me realize how useless, unproductive, distracted and couch-potato I am. Before this, I was always on-the-go and running. Hence never was actually parented by my own self. But this quarantine made us to be on our own and be our own managers and I realized that I suck at it.So I was trying to put myself back in the game and I stumbled upon this book.First of all, this book is targeted to muslims who are sincere about their faith. If a person has nothing to do with islam or has no regards for God, I don't think s/he can reap the complete benefits from this. My personal view. For me, this book really worked because it hit on the right zones of my consciousness and reminded me of the things I needed to be reminded. With the right doze.So if you are struggling to manage your inner undisciplined and unproductive self that you would fire if you were the boss and also happen to be a believing muslim, please do yourself a favor and give it a shot. I believe you'll be benefited too. :)
I really enjoyed this book. From the illustrations to the easy to follow suggestions and conversational tone, it has served as a great resource. May Allah reward the authors for their efforts in writing such a well cited book. I’ve always hoped to combine studies on productivity with Islamic practices and this book does it well. Leading life with much more direction and drive from now on isA.
Very detailed benficial information that every one should read. One of the best books i read in my life .
This book truly gives us understanding why Muslims in general lacking or way behind in the social and economic development of the world. It's the incorrect understanding of Islam that this world is not good and we should just focus on akhira, today this thinking alone have kept us behind for centuries. Productive Muslim book is an holistic take in answering these questions. How social, physical and spiritual productivity can improves our daily life. How can we learn from the life of most productive person Prophet Muhammad S.A.If you want to build habits, read this book, if you want to be good in relationships and understand how they affect your daily life and productivity read this book. How physical productive can affect on your focus and health just read, follow the advise. Its the actions those matter most. I highly recommend this book and joining the Productive Muslim Academy for the various courses.
It was nice to read and the author had great advices in the book which we all can benefit from. I was surprised about the authors Akhira oriented focus and how he had a very profound understanding on the meaning of life and connecting dunya and akhira together.
Very helpfull and full of handy tips from the Muslim point of view, finally one :-).Reads very easily and once all read you want to read over... I discovered again new usefull things.UP for the good delivered work !!
Just finished reading this book and I must say that I really enjoyed it. As the chapters progressed, I tried to implement the all the improvement and even in the short term, show positive results. What I liked about this book was that the sources / proofs was clearly detailed, and the explanations were simple and easy to understand. The book followed a logical layout and the graphics helped summarize each section. I would highly recommend getting this book; even to people who consider themselves productive. There is a lot of good advice in this book, and I will likely be reading it again, just so I don't miss anything!
Very useful and I would recommend to Allah friends. The beautiful thing about this book it links authentic hadith and the Quran to productivity in a very nice fashion. Usually when read books like this its a non Muslim, but this beautiful book was written by a Muslim alahamdulliah. 5 stars
After reading this book, I've come to a conclusion that this book is not written (or atleast the idea is not researched) in a single draft or in a short span of time. This is a work of years, I believe. And, it pays off, fully! This book is beautifully indexed with various aspects of human life (major habits which define a human being) and the author takes on all the aspects individually and in detail.Every topic in this book has been linked with either Quran (Word of Allah (SWT)) or Hadith (Life & Teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)) and that is the beauty of it.People say Islam is very difficult to apply in modern times. Is it? No. You just need to do it the right way. Try it and you'll be happier than you ever were. The writing is crisp, clear and to the point; nothing more or nothing less. The editing of this book is such that you can read the complete book in a single go, though you'll have to re-read it to analyze the points and apply it to your life on day to day basis. This is not just a guide to Islamic lifestyle, it's more of a self-help book and occasionally motivational as it helps us realize what our real purpose is or what our ultimate goal should be.It's a must have book for every household. Use this as a textbook to learn, teach it to yourself and to your family, also, extend it to the world.Get it (without a second thought), read it & apply it. Make your life better.Content: 10/10Writing: 10/10Print Quality (Paperback): 9/10
